How to become a Gateball Coach

Follow these steps to become a Gateball Australia Coach:

  1. Fill out the Coach Application Form.
  2. Get your Club to support your application.
  3. Ensure you have a Working with Children Check, Working with Vulnerable People Check, BlueCard or equivalent certification in your State and have evidence of the ID number and Expiry Date.
  4. Complete the Community Coaching Essential Skills online course and keep evidence of the certificate number and date of completion.
    1. Log in to the Australian Sports Learning Centre (or register if you are new to the site)
    2. Choose the Community Coaching Essential Skills online course.
    3. Once completed, print or save a PDF of your Certificate.
  5. Scan and send the form and supporting documents to the Coaching HPM Manager: coachinghpm-gateballaustralia@gateball.com.au.

We will find a Coach Assessor in your region to accredit you with a practical face to face course which lasts about 2 hours. You will be provided access to a manual for the course. Your accreditation lasts for 4 years and you will receive a reminder to apply for re-accreditation.
