Toowoomba Gateball Tournament

Over the long weekend at the start of October, seven teams competed in the Toowoomba Gateball Tournament. Sharing the limelight with the wonderful Carnival of Flowers, Toowoomba’s Gateball Tournament was a great success. Battling cool winds on Saturday, everyone was pleased when Sunday brought sunny warm weather. But, come Monday morning heavy showers fell and made playing the games quite a challenge. But, being the enthusiasts we are, all the games went ahead including semifinals and finals. There were two blocks of 6 pairs in the Doubles Tournament.
